What is the GT STRUDL Quality Assurance Program?
When GT STRUDL is used in/on projects related to the Nuclear Industry, US and International customers should be aware of Hexagon’s GT STRUDL QA and Reporting Annual Service.
The GT STRUDL Quality Assurance Program is based on written procedures, ASME NQA-1-2000, NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) 10CFR21, and NRC 10CFR 50 Appendix B. The program includes the Verification Manual, associated test problems and solutions, three (3) day error notification, and customer audits. GT STRUDL Quality Assurance and Reporting Annual Service is an additional yearly service (subscription) fee, which satisfies the requirements of US 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B (QA Reporting).
Requirements include:
1. A customer point of contact to serve as the designated compliance officer for the customer site.
2. The customer signs our Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). This service is optional, but encouraged, for International users of GT STRUDL. GT STRUDL is being developed under an NQA Quality Assurance Program and is therefore compliant with ASME NQA-1 standard along with 10 CFR Part 21 (U.S. NRC reporting) and US 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B (QA Reporting).
The GT STRUDL QA and Reporting Service complements this development by providing, but not limited to these additional service enhancements:
a. 10 CFR Part 21 (U.S. NRC reporting) and US 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B (QA Reporting)
b. Audit of development Records (On site in Norcross Location Only; Propriety Calculations will not be distributed, copied, or other forms of reproduction will not be permitted).
3. Verification & Validation package complete with benchmark examples, test examples, & release guide.
4. Enhanced technical support (from our Norcross office) with current maintenance.
Supplied in conjunction with the QA program, is a DVD containing the Input and Output files for the verification of the requested version of GT STRUDL. Additionally, it contains the four(4) volume set of Verification Manuals for the requested version in PDF format.
