PROKON - Structural Analysis and Design

Windows 95 / NT

PROKON is a large collection of modular engineering programs covering Structural Analysis, Steel design, Concrete Design, Geotechnical Analysis and other General calculations including gutter design and wind pressure on buildings. PROKON is developed locally by practising engineers and covers both SABS and BS codes for Concrete, Steel and Timber design, as well as limited support for American and Canadian design codes. The South African Steel Tables are also included and these can be viewed and customised. Steel tables for other countries are available on request (e.g. AISC).

The range of modules all have dimensioned graphics to help with inputting of data. Three dimensional diagrams, which can be plotted, are created from user inputs and these can be exported to DXF files for some of the modules. Most of the modules have been converted to 32-bit calculations. Users can purchase or rent the program on a modular basis. Available modules include:
