NEW SOFTWARE RELEASES

CHEMOFFICE 2001
This popular Chemistry Suite has been upgraded to the 2001
edition, but is available at current 2000 prices until year
end, after which a general price increase will be
implemented.  Chemoffice Ultra 2001 includes the following
features:

* The personal edition E-Lab Notebook, designed to help
organic chemists keep track of lab work in a fully
searchable electronic environment. The principal functions
of the notebook are to store collections of organic
reactions, to perform related stoichiometric calculations,
and to track other related data such as laboratory
procedures. Features include in place editing for ChemDraw
reaction drawings with the ChemDrawActive-X control,
automatic Stoichiometry and full integration with Microsoft
Office.

* New ChemDraw Ultra menu items for calculating the
Water/Octanol partition coefficient (CLogP) and Molar
Refractivity (CMR).

* New Chem3D features including as visualization of
Connolly Surfaces,MOPAC 2000, enhanced Gaussian interface
and an interface to GAMESS, a widely available ab-initio
quantum chemistry program.

* ChemSAR - A new add-in that works with ChemFinder for
Excel. ChemSAR adds access to Chem3D's chemical property
predictors and the ability to generate Rune Plots,
descriptive statistics, and a correlation matrix from
within Excel.

* ChemFinder for Word, a program for locating and managing
chemical information stored in diverse data sources,
whether on local media or a global network. Locate
structures in ChemFinder databases, collections of
structure files (ChemDraw cdx, chm; SD Files; MS Word
documents containing embedded ChemDraw Structures; Excel
Spreadsheets; and more)

BREEZE HAZ - TOXIC CHEMICAL RELEASE MODELING SOFTWARE
Breeze Haz is a leading software program for modeling of
accidental toxic and flammable chemical releases.  It
includes air dispersion models AFTOX, DEGADIS, INPUFF and
SLAB, as well as several popular fire and explosion models.
It allows you to easily identify hazards associated with
accidental chemical releases, including downwind
concentrations from leaks or chemical spills, thermal
radiation levels from BLEVE, pool, and jet fires, and
overpressure levels from vapour cloud explosions.  The
models are ideal for analysing offsite impacts and
consequences to comply with EPA, OSHA and other regulatory
standards. 

Autocad .dxf files and graphic images in .bmp, .gif or .bmp
format can be imported into Breeze and used as base maps
for easy visualization of affected areas.  The Breeze
GEOSET MANAGER, a Graphical Information System (GIS),
allows users to create customized maps with added data
layers such as schools, highways, landmarks, population
density contours etc.
