CHEMPUTE SOFTWARE - NOV/DEC 2001 NEWSLETTER ============================================== The Management and Staff of Chempute Software would like to wish all our clients well for the coming holiday season. May you all have a great Christmas and festive New Year, and we hope that the year 2002 will bring new opportunities to you all. Our offices will be closed for the period 15 Dec - 7 Jan, but current orders that arrive during this period will still be delivered. Our e-mail will continue to be monitored in the event that any urgent issues arise, in which case we will try to respond as soon as possible. NEW SOFTWARE RELEASES ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ COMPRESS - Pressure Vessel Design Version 6.4, Build 6167. Codeware has released this new version of COMPRESS which incorporates the 2001 ASME Code Edition. New CD's will be shipped to all clients that have current Maintenance Agreements, before the end of December. PVELITE 4.3 - Pressure Vessel Design Due for release before the end of December, and will contain the 2001 ASME Code Edition. A new CD-ROM will be sent to all users with current Maintenance Agreements. CODECALC 6.4 - Pressure Vessel Component Design Due for release before the end of December, and will contain the 2001 ASME Code Edition. A new CD-ROM will be sent to all users with current Maintenance Agreements. CAESAR 4.3 - Pipe Stress Analysis A new build was posted on the COADE website www.coade.com on 2nd November, which corrected a number of problems reported by users. The new build is available for download only, and is not being distributed on CD-ROM. The build only applies to users of Version 4.3. IMPULSE Ver 2.0 - Transient Flow Analysis This new 32-bit version which will have a similar interface to AFT Fathom and Arrow, is currently in Pre-Release beta testing, and will be be officially released in the near future. More information will be provided when available.
