NavisWorks Roamer is fully compatible with most popular 3D design file formats, opening them quickly for walkthrough and review of geometry, object information and materials. Roamer can combine competing 3D file formats to create supermodels so interoperability is no issue and large data files are handled with ease on ordinary PCs. Each plug-in component must be paired with a Roamer and any or all the NavisWorks plug-in range can be added to a single Roamer.

NavisWorks Roamer + Publisher offers design professionals a valuable means of communicating their intent. Publisher creates compressed and secure NavisWorks .NWD review files that are faithful to the original native 3D data from which they are created. Designers cannot effectively collaborate unless they can review each other's contributions and share them to improve the understanding and input of others. NavisWorks liberates the 3D model from the authoring design software, expensive hardware and friction of competing file formats. Published NavisWorks files are read by NavisWorks Roamer and Freedom and make it easy to work as a team and free to bring the design to life for a wide audience.

NavisWorks Roamer + Presenter is an original visualization solution dedicated to the creation of compelling 3D content to communicate design intent. Presenter3 enables textures, materials and lights to be quickly applied to existing 3D models and is ideal for fast-moving collaborative review at every stage of the creative process. NavisWorks Presenter allows non-technical users, without design software to create both still and animated photorealistic rendered output to share their vision of a project to communicate design intent to aid full understanding and facilitate decision-making.

NavisWorks Roamer + Clash Detective enables the effective identification, inspection and reporting of interferences in a 3D project model. Clash Detective can eliminate a tedious manual task with the accompanying risk of human error to significantly reduce the expensive consequences of incomplete, inaccurate and poorly coordinated production information. The Clash Detective plug-in for Roamer adds the facility to quickly and easily find, review and manage both hard and clearance clashes in even the largest supermodel. Geometry created by different, competing 3D design software can be quickly reviewed together and checked automatically against each other for interferences with NavisWorks Clash Detective.
