Our apologies for the late release of our March Newsletter!
Andrew Taylor and I have been over in the USA attending dealer
seminars and visiting suppliers. There are a lot of new
developments in the pipeline from several of our suppliers and
we will be providing more details about this in the near future.
In particular, our 2005 Software Catalog and Demo CD are in
process, and we hope to start sending these out in late
May/early June. We have also done a major client database
update, with the result that many of you will be receiving this
newsletter for the first time. The object of the newsletter is
to keep you informed of updates and new releases within our
range of engineering software products, to make you aware of any
special pricing offers, and to point you towards interesting
websites and free software offers that have relevance to the
process engineering industry. There is no charge for this
service and you can unsubscribe at any stage if you wish.

CADWORX PLANT - 2D/3D Plant Design/Drafting
====================================
CADWorx 2006 will be released in the near future simultaneously
with AutoCAD 2006. The new version of CADWorx will provide full
support for the new features in AutoCAD 2006. Some of these new
features include Dynamic Blocks (used in P&ID), enhanced
Dimensioning and Annotation, Heads-Up Design interface, user
definable Workspaces and Tool Palettes. CADWorx offers
intelligent drawing-to-database connectivity, advanced levels of
automation and easy to use design techniques. Because of these
distinct advantages, it has been rapidly adopted by EPC firms
and owner operator companies in the process, power, offshore,
pulp and paper, mining, petrochemical, shipbuilding, water
treatment industries, and also the hygienic industries such as
food, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and semiconductor sectors.
CADWorx leads the industry by offering bi-directional
integration between CAD and stress analysis, such as CAESAR II
for piping systems and PVElite for vessels.

AFT STEAMCALC
=============
Obtaining accurate physical properties for steam and water is
critical in many engineering applications. Looking up such data
in handbooks is time consuming and error prone. AFT SteamCalc
2.0 provides easy access to accurate steam and water properties
through a standalone application and through an add-in to
Microsoft Excel. AFT SteamCalc calculates properties using the
1997 ASME Steam Tables formulation, the most respected source
available. An alternate formulation from NBS is also provided.
Now engineers can conveniently access reliable steam and water
properties on their desktop PC.

CFE - COMPRESSIBLE FLOW CALCULATOR

CFE is a simple utility program that estimates the error that
occurs when using incompressible pipe flow calculation methods
on compressible gas flows. It shows the percentage error in
calculated pressure drop for isothermal and adiabatic systems.
