Also 2 new products have been released (CC-Polymer and CC-Safety Net) CHEMCAD 5.20 - a database of 240+ Crude Oils in now included, the K-Value Wizard has been improved, New Electrolyte Method NRTL 1986 has been added, and ChemCAD can now be integrated with your SCADA or DCS systems. CC-BATCH 5.20 - New specs for Mass Reflux and Mole Reflux and many more. CC-THERM 5.20 - Double pipe heat exchangers, Multiple pass exchangers,and new LMTD correction methods. CC-REACS and CC-DYNAMIC COLUMN 5.20 - Multiple plots during runtime, Pfaudler library of reactor vessels, PID controllers, Visual Basic Access. CC-POLYMER 5.20 - This new product is used to simulate the dynamic behavior of batch, semi-batch and continuous polymer reactors in which mixed phases exist at vapor-liquid equilibrium, but where polymerization takes place in the liquid phase. CC-SAFETY NET 5.20 - This new software program simulates the steady state behavior of pressure relief devices, blowdown piping systems, and piping networks under actual component mixture flowing conditions. It also provides powerful facilities for environmental audits in the prediction of volatile organic compound (VOR) emissions to atmosphere at equilibrium conditions. Impulse now includes a steady state solution engine (as in AFT Fathom) which uses a modified Newton-Raphson matrix interation. AFT Impulse’s transient flow solution engine is based on the Method of Characteristics, which utilizes time steps and pipe section lengths that are an integral fraction of the wave speed.
