CADWORX 2012 Compatibility release for AutoCAD 2012
CADWorx 2012 Plant Design Suite, the newest version of Intergraph's design solution for mid-market and AutoCAD-based projects and workgroups, is compatible with AutoCAD 2012, the latest release from Autodesk, offering users improved capabilities. CADWorx 2012 builds on the latest capabilities and adds performance-enhancing features. CADWorx Plant Professional includes a new discontinuity palette for showing component discontinuities and overlaps in the model, with full reporting capabilities. An improved pipe support module provides greater flexibility in the placement of pipe supports and extends bills of material capabilities to pipe support subassemblies. HVAC and cable tray enhancements include additional manufacturers' catalogs plus live database links to
components. Improved steel capabilities allow the creation of steel plate from any single-line shape plus provide enhanced CIS/2 import for improved integration with Intergraph FrameWorks. The CADWorx Plant Professional equipment module includes a new center of gravity calculator for modeling equipment and for vessels and exchangers. Designers can also add stiffening rings internally and orient rings around their primary axes. In addition to live database capabilities, CADWorx P&ID Professional now offers direct data export to Microsoft Excel. CADWorx fieldPipe and CADWorx fieldPipe Professional are now offered as add-on modules to CADWorx Plant Professional, allowing for more flexible implementation options for the creation of on-site and in-house plant as-built
deliverables.

CHEMCAD v6.4 - Process Flowsheet Simulation
Chemstations (Houston) have released their latest version of CHEMCAD, which includes the following enhancements and new features:
* State-of-the-art licensing tool, RMS License Manager, which expands CHEMCADs commuter licensing capabilities * New Thermo Acceleration operating mode, which can help speed calculations for complex simulations * Improved dynamic column performance * Enhanced user-defined component database, which enables users to specify electrolyte density, viscosity, diffusivity, Henry's constants, and BIPs * BIP regression from partial pressure data * Improved convergence for multiple solid electrolyte systems * Capability for simultaneous heat
transfer and mass transfer models in distillation columns * Capability to run Excel Data Maps for each time step in dynamics mode * New section on the Topology Report that lists stream and UnitOp relationships, such as controllers, stream references, streams copied from another flowsheet, and META units * Improved convergence for node flowsheets where some UnitOps are near critical
flow

| NozzlePRO |

NozzlePRO is a component analysis tool for piping and pressure vessels. The tool brings the accuracy of the finite element method to the engineering community for general design and analysis. NozzlePRO is based on the technology offered in FE/Pipe with a user interface that simplifies input and allows engineers to quickly analyze piping and pressure components with a high degree of accuracy. NozzlePRO technology is a significant improvement over the limitations inherent in WRC 107/297 methods. WRC methods are accurate across a small subset of ranges found in industrial applications. Since NozzlePRO is based on the finite element method, there are application constraints based on geometry. Evaluate nozzles, saddles,
pipe shoes and clips on shell or heads. Modeled head types include... Conical Dished Elliptical Spherical Inputs include thermal, weight, operating, occasional, pressure, wind and earthquake loads as well as material and nozzle orientation. NozzlePRO includes the Saddle Wizard and has interfaces with MatPRO and
PVElite.
What are key NozzlePRO features?
- Automated nozzle calculations: allowable loads, flexibility factors, stress intensification factors
- Automatic fatigue calculations for piping and pressure vessel codes
- Extend use of piping programs beyond B31 flexibility and SIF limits on D/T (B31.3, Appendix D)
- Fatigue analysis includes a calculation for maximum allowed cycles and includes fatigue analysis according to BS5500, EN13445, ASME and WRC 474.
- Improve beam analysis in piping programs using flexibility factors (WRC 329)
- Interface with MatPRO allows comprehensive ASME material property lookup
- Nozzle reinforcements: barrel and pad reinforced
- Rich DirectX graphics show animated models for each load case and code stress category
- Saddle wizard with pipe shoe options for repads, fluid head, tapered saddles, and user controlled boundary conditions
- State and transient heat transfer analysis of selected head models
- Tabular and graphical reports are produced in HTML.
