Flowel 4 is a software application that makes flow element sizing and
specification accurate, easy, and fast. Flowel 4 includes current flow element
standards and calculations and offers innovative features that improve
cost-effectiveness.
The Challenge

calculation methods. Flowel 4 also has an optional extensive fluid properties
package.

Features

Flowel 4 is supported by current operating systems and networks.
Flowel 4 features a concurrent, multi-user network option that is tailored to
our customers’ requirements. For example, if a Flowel 4 customer has a total of
10 users, but only three use the application at one time, then only three
licenses are required. The network version tracks the number of users allowed to
operate the application at one time, up to the licensed maximum. This version
also provides a centralized database to allow project team members access to all
jobs and tags. The enhanced administration features allow security settings to
be applied to each user’s job, tag, and group requirement.
Flowel 4 supports a wide variety of industry-standard specification sheets,
which are available in portable document format (PDF) for easy viewing,
e-mailing, and archiving. This format also provides flexible printing options,
such as paper size selection.
Flowel 4 includes a comprehensive user manual in hard copy and PDF. This manual
offers an excellent summary of the standards and calculations that are
implemented by Flowel 4, and it provides detailed descriptions about how
calculations are performed.
