The Chemguide Chemical Resistance Guide and Material Selection

ChemGuide indicates the chemical corrosion resistance that commonly used
metals, elastomers, plastics, thermosetting materials and other materials
will offer to more than 9000 chemicals/media.These include a
comprehensive list of organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, salt solutions,
hydrocarbons, esters, aldehydes, ketones, gases, solvents and organic
materials handled in the industry.
The information is primarily intended to indicate chemical and not
abrasion resistance with values derived and cross-referenced from more than
50 sources, including service tests,accepted standards,equipment and
chemical manufacturers. The new version of the software now includes a
Mechanical Seal Guide.
