Cerebrotank calculates all geometric data, volumes and heads of vertical and horizontal tanks. It also designs the supporting system (legs or saddles).
It issues reports with all design parameters of the calculated tanks, schematic drawings, development of plates for the construction of heads as well as the weight of the material used. The software designs with standard commercial plates and normalized materials, the user has the option of entering custom plate size and material.

CérebroTank designs within the following constraints:
- Vertical tanks supported by legs up to 200,000 litres
- Vertical tanks directly placed on the ground (without legs) up to 500,000 litres
- Horizontal tanks supported by saddles with maximum diameter of 3600 mm and maximum
length of 10 times the diameter, having its volume limited to 200,000 litres.
