NEW SOFTWARE RELEASES
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PVELITE 4.0
For design of pressure vessels to ASME VIII and BS5500 code,
this COADE software has been updated to version 4.0. This
version now includes a 3D model viewer, DXF (data interchange
file) file generation, and BS 5500, Appendix G local stress
evaluation for round hollow nozzles on spheres and cylindrical
shells. PVELITE also includes the vessel component analysis
software CODECALC, and there is an option for current Codecalc
users to upgrade to PVELITE 4.0. PVELITE now also contains a
link to the NOZZLE PRO software (available separately), for
analysis of vessel nozzles using Finite Element techniques.
PVELITE 4.0 is provided free of charge to clients with a current
maintenance agreement.
CADWORX/PIPE 3.1
This new version of the popular 2D/3D Pipe Drafting software
which has a bidirectional link to Caesar, has several new
features. These include an enhanced link between CADWorx/PIPE
and P&ID for sharing data, a new full personal ISOGEN option
(with all 350+ switches), expanded user shapes and the ability
to handle tubing. There is also an optional Sanitary fittings
module (SSE), which contains pre-built specs and parametric data
files for thousands of sanitary pipe fittings. The Victaulic
Fittings built into Cadworx have been expanded with the addition
of many new pre-built specs, and hundreds of additional
Victaulic fitting datafiles. Cadworx Pipe 3.1 is provided free
of charge to users with a current Maintenance agreement.
PHAWORKS 5.0
This updated Process Hazard Analysis Tool includes complete
HAZOP, What-If, FMEA, Checklist, What-If / Checklist, RMP Hazard
Review, RMP Standard Review and PrHA studies. There are
hundreds of enhancements in this version which greatly simplify
HAZOP studies. PHAWORKS can print output reports in HTML
format, which can be viewed using browser software and shared
over the company Intranet. A separate viewing program, PHAWorks
Viewer, is also available to install with the PHAWorks
software. This program allows you to view an entire PHAWorks
project, but not edit it. This is useful for management
review. Version 4 users may upgrade to Version 5 for
$1000+VAT.
ICARUS 2000NT 8.0
This top of the range plant cost estimation software has
recently been upgraded to Version 8.0, and now includes 1st
Quarter 99 cost databases.
PROKON 1.6
This structural engineering software has three new modules
available. The new BEAM-COLUMN Connection
and APEX Connection modules include great new 3D graphic
visualization tools, automatic optimization tools for
stiffeners, bolts and welds, and DXF export. The CRANE GANTRY
GIRDER Design module is used to design and optimize multi- span
crane gantry girders. PROKON's Space Frame module now also
supports CIMSteel model import from software such as Intergraph
Frameworks, and Microstation Structural Triforma. Prokon can be
purchased on a modular basis, or modules may be rented
annually.

Free Curve Fitting software - Xlfit v1.0 is an Excel add-in
suitable for Microsoft Office 97 or 2000. Xlfit adds a custom
toolbar for polynomial and cubic spline data fitting and
Savitsky - Golay and weighted data smoothing. Download this
