QUICK HYDRAULICS - Process Flowsheet Simulator

Quick Hydraulics Version 4 has just been released, and has been
updated to run in the latest Windows operating systems, has an
entirely new graphic user interface, and has enhancements in various
process equipment models. This simulator is produced in South Africa,

COMPRESS ASME/TEMA EXCHANGER MODULES

Codeware has announced new pricing for their TEMA and ASME Heat
Exchanger software. TEMA Exchanger and Tube Layout software will now
be included free with ASME Exchanger. The ASME add-on licence to
Compress is priced at US$3500, and the Standalone version costs
US$5000. If you already own TEMA Exchanger add-on, you can add ASME
Exchanger (+ Tube Layout) for US$2500, and if you already own ASME

FAULTREASE - Fault Tree Analysis

FaultrEASE™ is a program for creating, editing, and computing fault
trees. It allows you to create, edit, and draw fault trees with a
minimum of effort. In particular, fault tree editing is very simple
and quick. You can move symbols around in your tree, and the program
will automatically re-balance the whole tree. Entire branches can be
moved in the same way. In other words, FaultrEASE™ takes care of
laying out your graphics for you, allowing you to focus on the logic.
FaultrEASE™ performs fault tree mathematics, including mixed
probability and frequency calculations, and cut-sets. For trees with
repeated events, reduction is achieved using direct evaluation. This
method is faster and more accurate than Boolean reduction.

INSTRUCALC 6.1 - Instrumentation Toolbox

SCILAB
======
Ever wanted a FREE alternative to MATLAB/SIMULINK? Scilab is a free
scientific software package for numerical computations providing a
powerful open computing environment for engineering and scientific
applications. Developed since 1990 by researchers from INRIA and ENPC,
it is now maintained and developed by Scilab Consortium since its
creation in May 2003. Scilab is currently being used in educational
and industrial environments around the world. Scilab includes hundreds
of mathematical functions with the possibility to add interactively
programs from various languages (C, Fortran...). It has sophisticated
data structures (including lists, polynomials, rational functions,
linear systems...), an interpreter and a high level programming
