========================================= NEW SOFTWARE RELEASES ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PSV Plus Vers 3.1 - Pressure Safety Valve Design PSV Plus is a software designed to execute calculation of pressure safety valves in Vapour, Steam, Liquid and Mixed Phase Service. It comprises six calculation modules in full compliance with API RP520 procedures. Additionally, for single phase calculation, the user will have the option to estimate inlet and outlet line sizes at the same time of safety valve calculation and selection. The calculated data can be interfaced to a MS Access database, and is used to produce a process data specification sheet for the PSV. Winners in each of three categories will receive free software licenses. Acknowledging that most system professionals use licenses owned by their companies, two licenses will be awarded in each category - one to the entrant and one to the company owning the license. The AFT license awarded will be the same type as the winning entry. Judging will be based on submitted AFT software system models in the following categories - * Use of software features * Model creativity/appearance * Correlation to test/field data Entries must include the model file and entry form, and, for the correlation to field/test data, documentation of the data and comparison to predicted model results.
